ROOTED IN HISTORY,

GROWING TOWARD RESTORATION

Forgotten Lands started in 2020 as an itch to do something more. It’s grown into a farm, a greenhouse and a community landscape stitched together by care and the love of flowers in Turtle Creek, just east of Pittsburgh.

A CENTURY OLD GREENHOUSE

For generations, our greenhouse has been a Mon Valley mainstay — the place neighbors come for spring colors, veggie starts and familiar faces. We’re proud to steward this space forward, honoring what came before while introducing new rhythms and possibilities.

A HILLSIDE COMING BACK TO LIFE

Just beyond the greenhouse lies 25 acres of land once marked by strip mining. Today we’re working with natural systems to restore it: improving soil health, building biodiversity, and creating new habitats that support the long-term resilience of the land. Part of that work includes cultivating gardens filled with cut flowers for our subscription program. We grow annuals (started in our greenhouse!) and perennials — both cultivated and native varieties. our cut flowers are sold through weekly subscriptions to the East End of Pittsburgh and the Woodland Hill School District. In 2026 we jointed Three Rivers Flower Cooperative to sell locally grown flowers to local florists.

A FLOWER FARM WITH BIG DREAMS

We believe that tending to the land is also a way of tending to community. every plant we grow, every bloom we harvest, reflects our hope to be a more joyful, abundant, ecologically vibrant Mon Valley.

CUT FLOWERS

Our flower subscriptions bring the best of the season right to you. Cut flowers are grown on our hillside farm in Turtle Creek with ecological attention and harvested for longest vase life. Purchase subscriptions for spring and summer seasons.

We deliver to the Woodland Hills School District and the East End of Pittsburgh.

IT DOESN’T GET ANY FRESHER THAN THIS

This ritual made my day over and over again … I would often forget about the delivery then open the door and find a fresh bouquet.
